How can we know beyond any doubt that God exist?
Do we just have to assume it on sheer faith?

Some of us, despite a lifetime of profession of belief in God, sometimes experience doubt about God's existence. There are two basic reasons for this doubt:

Can keeping the law save us?
Can we be saved without keeping the law?

Most Christians know that eternal life is a gift of God [Rom.6:23]. Gift, by definition is something given freely. Its receiver can not earn it. To attempt to earn it is futile - and makes no sense. What then does the law got to do - if any - with the free gift of eternal life?

Is America at the "end of its road"?
Can America recover from its present crisis?

The Iranian President Ahmadinejad, in his address before the United Nations on September 23, declared that “the American empire in the world is reaching the end of its road “. Few people probably would take the words of an eccentric and irrational person such as the Iranian president seriously. But the severity and magnitude of the financial crisis America is facing ought to make one wonder if America is really at the end of its road.

What does the Bible mean by a “jealous God”?

The popular TV host, Oprah is bothered by the idea that God is a “jealous God”. Because of this she began looking elsewhere – and ended up embracing the “new age” teaching [see video]. Oprah is just one of the many who are bothered and turned off by the thought of a “jealous God”.

Let's face it, there are verses in the Bible that use the word “jealous” to describe God. Does that mean that God is some mean, self-centered being? Isn't jealousy negative and immature – and indicative of some kind of insecurity? What does the Bible mean by a “jealous God”?

The apostle Paul said that we walk by faith and not by sight (2 Cor. 5:7).
What does he mean? Is it wrong to determine and and take control of where we are going?
Does Paul put little value on planning ahead?
